CAMP AMIGO
Weekend Camp for Children
Camp Amigo is a weekend camp for children who have undergone cleft lip and cleft palate repair. The annual Camp Amigo is held in the fall at Camp For All in Burton, Texas. Staff from craniofacial teams serve as counselors for the children and parents. It is a great way for children to interact with peers in an activity-filled weekend! Parents have the opportunity to speak with other parents that face similar issues with the development of their child.
This camping adventure offers the campers a combination of challenges and interactions that leave them feeling good about themselves. Camp Amigo is open for children from 6 to 16 years of age, and is held on a weekend in September. Our staff consists of Craniofacial Team members who volunteer their time to serve as counselors.
